Sarah Jones

Sarah is the Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF) Officer for the Tamar-Tavy catchment.  CSF is a joint project between Natural England and the Environment Agency, funded by Defra and the Rural Development Programme for England. The project aims to work with farmers in priority catchments across England to reduce diffuse pollution from agriculture to protect water bodies and the environment.  CSF offers free advice to farmers through one to one advice visits and training events, as well running an annual Capital Grant Scheme.

Sarah joined CSF in February 2012 but had been working for Natural England since 2009 predominately on agri-environment schemes and designated sites. Growing up on her family farm in Gower, South Wales she is passionate about the countryside and farming, so on visits home doesn’t mind mucking in!
