Dave Allen is a hydrogeologist working for the British Geological Survey. His interests are principally in catchment conceptual hydrological models, groundwater-surface water interaction and the physical properties of aquifers. BGS is contributing to the Avon DTC study by helping to create conceptual groundwater flow models of the sub-catchments. Such models will assist with understanding the links between diffuse pollution mitigation measures and their impact on streams.
